Princess & the Peas Sells Out

PRINCESS & THE PEA Sells Out Opening Weekend of Children’s
Theatre March Mainstage Run. Tickets Still Available.

Salt Lake City, UT, March 10, 2009 – Children’s Theatre and School of the Arts
announces the sold out opening weekend and continued March run of the
Mainstage performance of PRINCESS AND THE PEA. The musical comedy
adaptation of the well-known fable opened to three full houses on March 6th
and 7th and continues its run through the end of the month with Friday shows at
7:00pm and Saturday shows at 1:00pm and 4:30pm.

PRINCESS & THE PEA, based on the classic fairy tale, directed by Emily Trulson
Parker and adapted by James Parker opened to delighted crowds. “It's virtually
impossible for a child to lose interest in the show given that the action is right in
front of them, and sometimes involving them! And then there's the humor - plenty
of laugh-out-loud moments keep kids and adults giggling,” raves Parents
Connect Local. The intimate theatre setting, vibrant art design and strong
performances make this medieval tale, full of pure silliness and wonderful music,
a delight for children of every age.
